Add EPC

To add a new EPC:

  1. From the Portfolio page, select the asset in the Asset Register.

  2. Select View Asset.

  3. The Asset Details page is shown, select the Energy tab.

  4. Select Add EPC.

  5. The Add New Energy Performance (EPC) page appears.

    The Add New Energy Performance (EPC) page has sections which are expanded by default, selecting the section heading minimises it.

  6. In the Performance Ratings section:

    1. Enter the Energy Efficiency Rating (EER)*.

    2. Select the Energy Efficiency Rating Band (EER Band)* dropdown, then select the applicable EER band from A - G.

    3. Enter the Environmental Impact (CO2) Rating (EI)*.

    4. Select the Environmental Impact Band (EI Band)* dropdown, then select the applicable EI band from A - G.

  7. In the Estimated Energy Use, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Emissions and Fuel Costs section:

    1. Enter the Energy Use Per Year [kWh]*.

    2. Enter the CO2 Emissions Per Year [t]*.

    3. Enter the CO2 Emissions Rate [kg]*.

    4. Enter the Lighting Costs Per Year*.

    5. Enter the Heating Costs Per Year*.

    6. Enter the Hot Water Costs Per Year*.

  8. In the Report Details section:

    1. Select the Assessment Type* dropdown, then select either RdSAP or SAP.

    2. Enter the EPC Reference Number*. This must be unique.

    3. Select the Date of the EPC Assessment (Issue Date)* field, then select the date from the calendar.

    4. Select the Expiration Date* field, then select the date from the calendar.

    5. Select the Date of Certificate* field, then select the date from the calendar.

    6. Enter the Primary Energy Use [kWh]*.

    7. Enter the Total Floor Area [m²]*.

    8. Enter the Total Fuel Cost [£]*.

    9. Enter the Form Factor.

    10. Enter the Heat Loss Coefficient [W/K].

    11. Enter the Space Heating Demand [kWh].

    12. Enter the Assessor’s Name*.

    13. Enter the Assessor’s Contact Email.

    14. Enter the Assessor’s Contact Phone.

    15. Enter the Assessor’s ID*.

  9. In the Potential EPC Data section:

    1. Enter the Potential Energy Efficiency Rating (Potential EER).

    2. Select the Potential Energy Efficiency Rating Band (Potential EER Band) dropdown, then select the applicable potential EER band from A - G.

    3. Enter the Potential Environment Impact Rating (Potential EI).

    4. Select the Potential Environment Impact Rating Band (Potential EI Band) dropdown, then select the applicable potential EI band from A - G.

    5. Enter the Current Energy Use per Year [kWh].

    6. Enter the Potential Energy Use per Year [kWh].

    7. Enter the Potential CO2 Emissions [kg].

    8. Enter the Potential Lighting Cost [£].

    9. Enter the Potential Heating Cost [£].

    10. Enter the Potential Hot Water Cost [£].

  10. Select Save Changes.
