System Data - Code Templates
The System Data > Code Templates tab lets you add and manage the work types available for use when publishing a programme in Overview > Planning.
The code templates added should match those in Job Management (Connect), so when programmes are published in Overview > Planning, Job Management (Connect) knows which type of work order need to be created for the associated assets.
The following information is shown:

Code - the unique code for the code template.

Name - the name for the code template.

Is Active - indicates whether the code template is available to be assigned when publishing a programme.

- this shows the code template is available to be assigned when publishing a programme. -
- this shows the code template is not available, and hidden when publishing a programme.

- select for the following options:-
Edit - select to edit the code template.

Delete - select to delete the code template.

You can also do the following in Code Templates:
-
Add Code Template - add a new code template.

Edit Code Template - edit an existing code template.
-
Refresh - select to refresh the information shown on the page.

Import- select to import multiple code templates from a .csv file.

Export- select to export code templates as a .csv file.

Search - enter the full, or partial, Code or Name into the Search field and press Enter on the keyboard to display all matching results in Code Templates.
Add Code Template
To add a new code template:

In the Navigation menu, in the Configuration section, select System Data.

Select the Code Templates tab.
-
Select Add Code Template.
-
The Add Code Template dialog appears.

Enter the following information:
-
Code*. The code entered must be unique, can be alphanumeric, contain symbols and have a maximum 64 character limit.

Name*.
-
Select the toggle to indicate whether the code template Is Active.

*These are required fields.
-
Select Save Changes.
Edit Code Template
To edit a code template:

In the Navigation menu, in the Configuration section, select System Data.

Select the Code Templates tab, for the code template you want to edit, select the
to open the context menu. -
From the context menu select Edit.

The Edit Code Template dialog appears.
Update the following details as required:

Code
-
Name
-
Is Active - indicates whether the code template is available when publishing a programme.

Select Save Changes.
Import
The Import lets you add multiple code templates by importing them as a .csv file.
The .csv file must contain the following columns:

Code Template Code
-
Code Template Name
If an Is Active column is not included the imported code templates will default to not available, and will be hidden when publishing a programme.
To import a code template file:

In the Navigation menu, in the Configuration section, select System Data.

Select the Code Templates tab.
-
Select Import.
-
The Import Code Template dialog appears.

Select Choose file, browse and select the required file to import, select Open.

Select Upload.
Export
The Export lets you export the code templates as a .csv file. The following options are available:

All Code Templates - exports all code templates.
-
Only Active Code Templates - exports all the code templates on the current page with Is Active selected.

Your Exports - shows all your in progress and completed exports.
To export code templates file:

Select System Data.
-
Select the Code Templates tab.
-
Select Export, and select either All Code Templates or Only Active Code Templates from the context menu.

The export is started and progresses in the background. Select Export, and select Your Exports from the context menu.

The Your Exports dialog appears.
This lists all of your exports which are in progress or completed. The following information is shown:

ID - the system generated identification number.

Date - the date and time the export started.

Status - the status of the export, which could be one of the following:

In Progress
-
Completed
-
-
-
Once the export is complete select the
, the export URL is shown.

Select the URL to download the code template to your browser download folder.
Once the export is downloaded to your browsers download folder, it is removed from the Your Exports dialog.
