Constraints
You can enable Constraint Types, which Mendel meets when it publishes a schedule to Optimise Schedule.

Attribute Match |
Enable to ensure Jobs are scheduled to Resources which have the required Attributes. Add Attributes in Users and select Attributes to match in Worlds within Optimise Admin. Refer to the User Administration and Optimise Admin user guides for more information. The Attribute Match Constraint Type is enabled by default. |

Mandatory Resource |
Enable to ensure Jobs are only scheduled to specified Mandatory Resources. The Mandatory Resource Constraint Type is enabled by default. |

Prohibited Resource |
Enable to ensure Jobs are not scheduled to specified Prohibited Resources. The Prohibited Resource Constraint Type is enabled by default. |

Range |
Enable to ensure Jobs are only scheduled to Resources within the Resource Range. If a Resource Range is not set, the Default Radius applies. Set a Resource range in Resources within Optimise Admin and view Jobs in relation to the Resource Range in the Map within Optimise Schedule. Refer to the Optimise Admin and Optimise Schedule user guides for more information. The Range Constraint Type is disabled by default. |

Resource Availability |
Enable to ensure Jobs are scheduled to Resources with Availability. Availability Slots are added to Rosters and Rosters are assigned to Resources. Additional Availability can also be added for Resources in Optimise Schedule. Refer to the Optimise Admin and Optimise Schedule user guides for more information. The Resource Availability Constraint Type is enabled by default. |

Skill Match |
Enable to ensure Jobs are only scheduled to Resources which have the required Skills. Add Skills in Users. Refer to the User Administration user guide for more information. The Skill Match Constraint Type is enabled by default. |
