Sync Lists

Sync Lists are shared lists of Orders, Customers, and Code Templates between Job Management (Connect) and Mobile Working (Mobilise). These lists provide the data source for dropdown list selections on forms, ensuring operatives choose from a controlled, filtered, and up-to-date set of options instead of free-typing or searching available records.

You configure Sync Lists in Job Management (Connect) and then synchronise them to Mobile Working (Mobilise) so operatives can select relevant data when creating Visits, Orders, or linked Orders.

Sync Lists help ensure operatives only see information that is relevant to their workflow.

List Types

There are three types of Sync Lists. Each type supports a different mobile workflow and provides a different set of data for operatives to select.

  • Order: A selection of available Orders filtered by Contracts, Work Streams and Order Statuses. Each list item displays the Primary Order Number and Address. If an Order no longer matches the selected statuses, it is automatically removed from the Sync List.

  • Customer: A selection of available Customers filtered by Organisations and Zones. An operative creates a new Order by selecting the Customer the Order is for. Each list item displays the Customer External ID and Address.

  • Code Template: A selection of available Code Templates filtered by Diagnosis Profiles. The operative can define what type of work the Order is for. Each list item shows the Code Template Name and Default Comments or Prompt Text.

Synchronisation

Sync Lists can be synchronised manually or automatically:

Manual sync: You can manually update a Sync List by selecting the Sync option on the list.

Automatic sync: A nightly job can automatically synchronise active Sync Lists.

This automatic job must be enabled at the account level by Totalmobile.

During synchronisation:

  • records matching the configured criteria are added to the list.

  • records that no longer match the criteria are removed from the list.

Some Order-based Sync Lists can also update automatically when an Order changes status.

Mobile Working (Mobilise)

Sync Lists are used in various places in Mobile Working (Mobilise) to:

  • Create Visits using Mobile Working (Mobilise) forms.

  • Create Orders using Mobile Working (Mobilise) forms.

  • Create linked Orders.

Configuration for the Mobile Working (Mobilise) forms is covered in the Mobile Working (Mobilise) documentation.
