We have been enhancing Lone Worker Protection since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

What's New

  • Change to 2G SOS Fob Design

    The case and charging for the 2G Fob have been updated from F045 devices onwards. For full detail please see the image below:

  • PROT-265 – User / Device Audit History

    The person page can now show a history of when GPS devices were assigned to and removed from a person.  The GPS Device page can now show a history of when a GPS device was assigned to or removed from a person. Please see some example screenshots below:

  • PROT-320 – Removal of Historical Usage Calculation

    The basic version of the usage calculation has been removed from the system and all sites now use the comprehensive version that powers the Activity Dashboard. 

  • PROT-294 – No Communication Alert

    A “No Communication Alert” event can now be raised when the system detects that an app has stopped communicating without being properly exited. The setting is the No Communication From Device Raises Alert After Minutes value on the Worker Down profile.  By default, there is no action for these events, and they exist only for information purposes.

  • PROT-264 – Auto Log out of Management Portal

    A facility to automatically log a person out of the management portal after a period of time can now be configured for each site by setting the Website Auto Log Out parameters in the sysadmin site settings page. You can set a warning time and a log out time. This feature is deactivated by default. Please speak to the support team or your account manager if you wish to have this enabled.

PROT-343

Improvements to Site Substitution Tags - Operator Instructions are now correctly calculated if Site Substitution Tags results contain Hierarchy Substitution Tags.

CSUP-234329

Missing Map Data - A fault has been resolved where a person was not able to see any results on the map on a person page or a GPS map.  This was due to the person having been assigned a restriction to an item from a hierarchy category that was marked inactive.

App Usage Flag Bug - A bug has been resolved that caused the App Usage flag to not be set in the person usage calculation.

Take on Service, Portal Usernames - The Data take on service can now change the portal login username when one is already assigned to a person.

Take on Service, Test Page Enhancements - Data take on service improvements.  The JSON test page has been enhanced to include several more usage examples for version 5 of the take on service.
