Lone Worker Protection - Release 9.37 & 9.38
Release Date: February 2026
We have been enhancing Lone Worker Protection (Protect) since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.
Some features may require additional setup by Totalmobile. If needed, reach out to your Account Manager for access details.
These Release Notes cover the following:
What's New
-
PROT-262 – Start and Stop Features Based on GPS Location on Android App
A new feature available on the Android app increasing automation based on the user’s location. End users will be able to add their own personal locations via the app and customers can also add these at a site level for all users.
If a user enters or exits these locations one of three actions can happen:
-
Nothing
-
Prompt the end user to start or stop a feature by sending a group alert
-
Automatically start or stop a feature
End users can add multiple personal locations and determine which of these locations will stop all features currently activated.
Example 1: An end user returns home with Safe Check running and the GPS shows them inside their home personal location the Safe Check feature will be automatically deactivated.
Example 2: An end user leaves their home location; the app can prompt them but not automatically start a feature to ensure they are using their lone worker modules during that working day if applicable.
This feature requires Android app version 2.06.00. For more details refer to Lone Worker Protection - Android Release 2.06.00.

PROT-282 – Notify End Users Upon Deactivation or Reactivation
An e-mail can now be automatically sent to a person when their Lone Worker facilities are deactivated or reactivated. This is configured at the customer site level. The email content sent to end users can be customised per client.
-
PROT-278 – Outstanding Alert Notifications Use Hierarchy Restriction
It is now possible to limit the recipients of an outstanding alert by Hierarchy, allowing managers to receive emails and or SMS if one of their team has an open alert for a pre-defined time period. Previously, this would send to central contacts only. Please note only one hierarchy category can be selected per customer site.
-
PROT-718 – Silence ARC Queue Beep
The periodic beep heard when a Red Alert telephone call has connected to the platform and is in the operator queue can now be silenced.
-
PROT-698 – User API Documentation Improved
Documentation for the Data Takeon API has been improved to explain that an assigned hierarchy item can be removed from a person by sending a value of "!NONE".
