What's New
-
Bulk Updates via Import
Enhancements have been made to Configuration section > System Data.
Bulk updates can now be completed via .csv import. Previously, System Data entities could only be created via .csv import, requiring administrators to edit individual records manually within the relevant section of Asset Management for any subsequent changes. The Import options within System Data now support combined Create and Update workflows:
-
System Data > Asset Categories & Subcategories
-
Existing Asset Categories and Asset Subcategories can now be updated in bulk by matching on the record Code.
-
Category names and Is Active status can be updated directly via .csv import.
-
Subcategory metadata, default templates, unit/replacement costs, expected lifetime, and forecasting flags can be updated directly via .csv import. Changing the lifetime via the import automatically triggers standard lifecycle recalculations.
-
-
System Data > Property Types & Templates > Property Templates
-
Full .csv import update support for Property Types and Property Templates matched by Code.
-
-
System Data > Units of Measure
-
Existing Unit of Measure and Is Active status can be updated directly via .csv import by Code.
-
-
Seamless Export and Reimport Compatibility
-
System Data exports now output standard codes and friendly names rather than internal database IDs, allowing files to be exported, modified in Excel, and re-imported directly without manual data transformation.
-
-
-
Advanced Compliance Filtering - Dynamic Timeframes and Relational Date Filters
Enhancements have been made to Overview section Portfolio > Filters, and Overview section > Forecasting > Filters.
-
Compliance filtering has been extended to include Compliant Until Date and Last Compliant Date.
-
Compare directly against Calculated Replacement Date, Condition Last Updated Date, Date Installed/Removed, and Planned/Suggested Replacement Date using Equals, Greater Than, or Less Than operators.
-
Filter by rolling intervals including Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow, This Week, Last Week, Last X Days, Next X Days, Months Ago, or a custom Within (X to Y days) range.
-
-
Portfolio Export Enhancements
Enhancement have been made to Overview section Portfolio > Export.
Exports now include the Parent Asset, Parent Asset Address and Customer External ID, providing complete property context for exported asset records.
-
Descriptive Export File Names
Enhancements have been made to the Exports within Configuration section > System Data.
The .csv exports for Units of Measure and other sections now generate meaningful file names containing the entity type and time stamp for example replacing generic ID names like 4392.csv with UOM_Export_13102026_134200.csv.
-
Downloadable Warning Logs
Enhancements have been made to Configuration section > System Data > Import Logs.
The Download Import Issues report is now available in Import Logs when an import finishes with warnings only, previously this was only generated if errors were found.
-
Concurrent Import & Edit Protection
Enhancements have been made to Configuration section > System Data.
Concurrency locks on the sections within System Data are now in place to prevent simultaneous imports or conflicting manual edits from overwriting changes or creating duplicate records.
-
Flexible Case-Sensitivity & Uniqueness Handling
Enhancements have been made to Overview section Portfolio > Import.
The Import now accepts Boolean values in import files with flexible case-sensitive such as, TRUE, true, True. There is also enforced case-insensitive validation on asset identifiers in order to prevent duplicate records differing only by capitalisation.
-
Job Management (Connect) Integration Improvements
Enhancements have been made to integration between Asset Management and Job Management (Connect).
-
The Warranty synchronisation field mappings have been aligned for external references, cover plan levels and supplier assignments.
-
Additional synchronisation logic has been added to ensure the Asset History in Asset Management is aligned when job codes are unassigned or deleted from an order in Job Management (Connect).
-
-
Cyclical Programmes Configuration Synchronisation Improvements
Enhancements have made to support cyclical programme configuration data to ensure order lead times and programme settings synchronised from Job Management (Connect) are stored and maintained accurately, reducing the risk of synchronisation issues and data loss.
