We have been enhancing Job Management (Connect) since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

Programmes of Work

Major enhancements have been made to Programmes of Work, giving teams a more structured way to create, manage, and monitor long-running planned works programmes in Job Management (Connect). This includes an improved programme setup wizard, richer programme summary views, billing period visibility, and KPI/reporting improvements to help users track budgets, progress, orders, and performance more effectively. Together, these updates reduce manual setup, improve financial oversight, and make it easier to manage programme delivery at scale.

Further enhancements to Programmes of Work are due on release 9.44.
Materials Management Improvements Enhancements
- Preserve Existing Descriptions
  
  Enhancements have been made to the Material Codes Import.
  
  Materials Management Import now supports a configuration setting to preserve existing material descriptions during bulk XML imports. When enabled, existing description, short description, and long description values remain unchanged for existing materials, while new materials continue to import descriptions as normal.

- Ability to include Deactivation Reason
  
  Enhancements have been made to Config > Material Management > Material Codes.
  
  Material Code Management has been enhanced with support for deactivation reasons, including use through the import process. Audit improvements also provide better visibility of bulk updates made to material codes during imports.
- Audit Improvements
  
  Enhancements have been made to allow access to an audit screen within Config > Material Management > Material Codes for those with the user permissions enabled. This enables visibility of updates made to material codes during imports.
Activities Centre (Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) only) Enhancements
- New ‘Complete’ Button Added to Activities
  
  Enhancements have been made to Orders > Order Management > Order > Activities.
  
  Users can now mark activities as Complete directly from the Activities screen in Job Management (Connect). A new Complete button is available alongside Delete, and the activity status is updated immediately in the interface.
- Custom Activity Naming Displayed as Process Step Name on Mobile Device
  
  Custom activity names defined in Job Management (Connect) can now be displayed as the process step name on Mobile Working(Mobilise) mobile devices. This allows engineers to see distinct, user-defined step names for each activity instead of generic process labels, controlled through configuration.
- Additional Custom Work Order Field Type
  
  Enhancements have been made to Custom Work Order Templates, these now support a Time-only field type in addition to Date and Date & Time. Time values are captured through a dedicated time input, stored as structured time data, and validated before save.
Security Enhancements for Integrated Customer Portal Access

Security updates have been implemented to strengthen access controls for integrated customer portal records. These updates enhance the protection of customer data and improve the security of authentication processes used by third-party integrations.
Asset Management - Multi Compliance Schedule Rules Applicable via API

Enhancements have been made to Multi Compliance Schedule Rules, so they can now be applied when assets are created through the asset API endpoint. This brings API-created assets into line with assets created manually or through CSV import for compliance schedule assignment.
Job Code Long Description Added to Tokens for Message Bus and Message Templates

Enhancements have been made so the job code long description is now available as a token for message templates and message bus topics. This applies across order, visit, and subcontractor contexts, and includes support within job code collections when long descriptions are enabled in administration settings.

Planner Comments & Job Duration Added and Editable in ‘Release Jobs’ to Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise)

Enhancements have been made to Orders > Order Management > Order > Jobs.

The release to Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) modal in Job Management (Connect) now supports adding Planner comments and editing Job Durations before a job is sent for scheduling. This allows scheduling information and operational notes to be included at the point of release instead of being updated afterwards in Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise).
Custom Field Created Which Copies the Order Value on Order Creation

Enhancements have been made to Orders > Order Management > Order Summary.

A custom field can now be created to copy the order value when an order is created. The copied value is then retained as a non-editable field for that order.

Book Appointment / Visit Past Target Date

Enhancements have been made to Order Management > Book New Appointment.

Appointment booking permissions have been updated to support booking visits past the target date through a dedicated control. Users can complete the booking with an override reason without enabling broader restriction override permissions. This is activated via Configuration > System Profile > Move Target Date Override To Actions Panel.
Job Code Visibility Settings Update

Enhancements have been made to job code visibility settings, they have been updated with revised wording from Set Hidden from Clients to Internal Use Only. Support has also been added for configuring certain job codes to always be hidden through job code configuration.
Job Management (Connect) <-> Mobile Working (Mobilise) - Include ExternalID on Reports

Enhancements have been made so Mobile Working (Mobilise) reporting now includes both the customer external ID and customer internal ID. These identifiers are available for use in forms as an alternative to address-based external and internal IDs.

New API for Initiating Dynamic Job Dispatch

A new inbound Job Management (Connect) API has been developed, providing additional integration for initiating dynamic job dispatch from external systems. This increases flexibility for organisations integrating job management processes with external systems.
Watermark on photo's to show Latitude / Longitude rather than Easting and Northings

Enhancements have been made to captured photo watermarks in Job Management (Connect), when enabled via configuration Use Lat Long For Image Watermarking can now display the latitude and longitude coordinates instead of Eastings and Northings. This maintains the expected coordinate format for photo watermarks and makes the location data usable in standard mapping tools such as Google Maps.

CONPS-1065	An issue has been fixed with the Process Step Calculation Avoid Weekends Contract setting (Dates tab) where weekends were not always excluded as expected.
CONPS-1131	An issue has been fixed where multiple subcontractor variations of the same code resulted in incorrect quantities being calculated in Job Management (Connect), which meant additional SORs were being added to the order.
CONPS-1256	An issue has been fixed when creating orders from the mobile device using a form, where the order then did not contain any of the assets.
CONPS-685	An issue has been fixed when uploading documents to the sub contractor portal, where you could pick from all the document categories or photo types, including ones which you did not have access to based on approval group settings.
CONPS-934	An issue has been fixed where trying to clear customer data via the Data Clear Console failed and produced an error.
CONSUP-1008	An issue has been fixed where if the same SOR code was added to an order more than once, and the codes were released to a subcontractor, only the first instance of the code was released to the subcontractor.
CONSUP-1289	An issue has been fixed where the Store Re-Order Dashboard was showing blank for Stores users.
CONSUP-1299	An issue has been fixed with the Planning Board > Planning View > Details tab where areas such as the address rows were incorrectly blank.
CONSUP-1310	An issue has been fixed which prevented a scheduled integration job item process from running as expected.
CONSUP-1554	An issue has been fixed where the Reported Date/Time appeared to be an hour ahead on the Order Management > Audit tab.
CONSUP-1591	An issue has been fixed where on occasion the Release Additional Job dialog, accessed from the Order Jobs tab, would shake.
CONSUP-1593	A performance issue has been addressed when accessing the Planning Board summary grid, to prevent it from timing out, and the filter options are disabled while a query is still running to prevent further timeouts.
CONSUP-1651	An issue has been fixed with the First Attendance KPI, where incorrect UTC based calculations were affecting both hour and day based SLAs.
CONSUP-1657	An issue has been fixed when saving a Shared Diary View where it always produced an error.
CONSUP-1660	An issue has been fixed where certain job codes durations were duplicated when pressing the Release Jobs button on the Order Jobs tab.
CONSUP-1686	An issue has been fixed where the Appointment Comments were not being truncated at 240 characters, which was causing validation errors when sending to BARIS.
CTD-669	An issue has been fixed to address performance issues caused by a query running a substantial number of times on the database, which was impacting system efficiency.
