We have been enhancing Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

What’s New

• Select Multiple Jobs to Schedule to a Single Resource
  A new features has been added to Web Admin > Optimise Schedule > Select World > Jobs Pile. This enhances productivity by allowing users to multi-select jobs and assign them to a single resource in one streamlined action:

  • Multi-selection via keyboard allows users to select multiple jobs using keyboard shortcuts.

  • Selected jobs are numbered by selection order for easy tracking and management.

  • Any scheduling conflicts are handled through the existing conflict modal, ensuring consistency and clarity.

These new features allows for faster job assignment workflows, improve the efficiency of resource planning and enhance user control and visibility over job selection.

• Allocate Jobs to a Resource in the Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) Map View
  A new feature has been added to Web Admin > Optimise Schedule > Map View. This allows users to assign jobs to resources via the interactive map, offering a more visual and intuitive scheduling experience.
  Once enabled, users can switch the map into Edit Mode, and jobs can be dragged and dropped onto a resource directly on the map. A dialog appears showing the resource’s diary, allowing users to manage any scheduling conflicts before confirming the assignment.
  This complements the existing Planner View and gives schedulers more flexibility in managing resources geographically.

• Enhanced Time Zone Support Across Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise)
  Enhancements have been made to ensure Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) works seamlessly across multiple time zones, benefitting nationally or globally teams:

  • The Automatic Appointment Booker now fully supports jobs and resources operating in different time zones, making scheduling smarter and more accurate across regions.

  • The Optimise Admin > Select a World > Optimise Purge Settings have been extended to support worlds with a specified time zone.

  • The Overlapping Jobs widget on the Optimise Dashboard now supports worlds with assigned time zones, giving you clearer visibility into scheduling conflicts across locations.
