We have been enhancing Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

What's New

• Dynamically Schedule Long-Running Jobs in Optimise

  We’ve introduced a new setting to support multi‑day dynamic scheduling for long‑running jobs, which exceed a single resource shift. The scheduler now allocates these jobs to a resource (or multiple resources if the job requires it) who have a continuous block of availability across consecutive days, while honouring constraints and configurable tolerances. This eliminates the need to manually split jobs into smaller chunks and reduces scheduling friction for complex, multi-day tasks.

• Optimise Planner Setting for Displaying Small Jobs

  You can now enable a magnified view of time slots in the Optimise Planner View, making it much easier to read information on smaller job cards. This helps reduce visual clutter and improves clarity when working with dense schedules.

  For teams whose resources begin work at similar times, an additional setting allows you to remove unnecessary empty space from the planner. This produces a more compact, focused view of your schedule.

  These settings are configured at the World level, which means any changes made will apply to all users viewing the planner within that World.
