Add Job External Links

You must have the Job External Links permission for this procedure. For more details refer to Permissions.

To add a job external link:

1. In WebAdmin select Optimise Admin.

   The Universal Settings and Worlds page appears.

2. In the Universal Settings section, select Job External Links.

   

   The Job External Link page appears.

3. Select Add New Job External Link .

4. Enter the following information:

   • Reference* - a unique identifier of up to 50 characters. The reference is displayed in the Job External Link page, but does not appear in the Job Details dialog.

   • Display Text* - the text displayed for the link in the Job Details dialog.

   • Link Template* - the full link URL.

     If you need to include parameters that will be passed from the third-party application, place each parameter in curly brackets. For example, if the URL includes a job identifier, include {jobId} in the URL. If the URL includes a job attribute, include {jobAttribute:attributeName}.

     If an attribute name has multiple values for a job, then the first one found will be used in the link. If none are found, then no link is displayed.

     To link to a referral in Referral Management (Carelink), use the jobClientReference.
     For example: https://tenant.totalmobile-cloud.com/test/carelink/#/serviceuser/{jobClientReference}

   • Origin** - the third-party application name.

5. Select Save.
