Add Resource External Links

You must have the Resource External Links permission for this procedure.

To add a resource external link:

1. In WebAdmin select Optimise Admin.

   The Universal Settings and Worlds page appears.

2. In the Universal Settings section, select Resource External Links.

   

   The Resource External Link page appears.

3. Select Add New Resource External Link .

4. Enter the following information:

   • Reference* - a unique identifier of up to 50 characters. The reference is displayed in the Resource External Link page, but does not appear in the Resource Details dialog.

   • Display Text* - the text displayed for the link in the Resource Details dialog.

   • Link Template* - the full link URL. If you need to include parameters that will be passed from the third-party application, place each parameter in curly brackets. For example, if the URL includes a user identifier for the resource, include {userID} in the URL.

   • Origin** - the third-party application name.

5. Select Save.
