System Data - Organisations
The System Data > Organisations tab is shown by default when you select the System Data page. Here you can add and manage the organisations available for use with your assets.
Each organisation can contain multiple portfolios, for more information see System Data - Portfolios.
The following information is shown for each organisation:

Organisation ID* - the organisations unique identification number.

Organisation Name* - the name of the organisation.

Is Active* - indicates whether the organisation is available to be assigned to portfolios and assets.

- this shows the organisation is available to be assigned to portfolios and assets. -
- this shows the organisation is not available, and hidden from portfolios and assets.

Last Updated* - the date and time the organisation record was last updated.

- select for the following options:-
Edit - select to edit the organisation details.

Deactivate - select to deactivate the organisation. This option is only available for Active organisations.

*These columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by selecting the column heading. The arrow to the right of the heading shows whether the column is sorted in ascending order (arrow pointing up), or descending order (arrow pointing down).
You can also do the following in Organisations:

Add Organisation - add a new organisation.

Edit Organisation - edit an existing organisation.

Search* - enter the full, or partial, Organisation ID or Organisation Name into the Search field and press Enter on the keyboard to display all matching results in Organisation.
*The Search field is a ‘begins with’ search, therefore ensure the text entered is always the beginning word/s of what you are searching for.
Add Organisation
To add a new organisation:

In the Navigation menu, in the Configuration section, select System Data.

In the Organisation tab, select Add Organisation.

The Add New Organisation dialog appears.
Enter the following information:

Organisation ID*. The ID entered must be unique, can be alphanumeric, contain symbols and have a maximum 64 character limit.

Organisation Name*.

Toggle to indicate whether the Organisation Is Active. When active the organisation is available to be assigned to portfolios and assets.

*These are required fields.

Select Save Changes.
Edit Organisation
To edit an organisation:

In the Navigation menu, in the Configuration section, select System Data.

In the Organisation tab, for the organisation you want to edit, select the
to open the context menu. -
From the context menu select Edit.

The Edit Organisation dialog appears.
Update the following details as required:

Organisation ID
-
Organisation Name
-
Organisation Is Active - indicates whether the organisation is available to be assigned to portfolios and assets.

Select Save Changes.
