Release Date - UAT: November 2025
Release Date - Live: December 2025

We have been enhancing Mobile Working since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

Some features may require additional setup by Totalmobile. If needed, reach out to your Account Manager for access details.

These Release Notes cover the following:

What’s New

  • Mandatory Coded Task

Completion Of One Coded Task setting added to Web Admin > Solutions > Settings > Visit Task Settings.

When enabled, mobile user are prevented from completing a visit unless at least one coded task linked to that visit has been marked as complete. This ensures every completed visit includes meaningful, trackable work which contributes to costing visibility in Job Management (Connect). Enforcing a mobile user to log a coded task before closing the job, ensures costing data is captured for invoicing.

For more information see Completion of One Coded Task.

  • Smart Lookup Element

Smart Lookup form element added to Web Admin > Forms > Form Designer > Maintain Element Settings > Capture.

The Smart Lookup feature helps mobile users quickly access context-specific information while completing forms within a visit. Using data entered into a form, Mobile Working (Mobilise) can now send that information to a trusted external service and, based on what has been filled in, the service will return tailored information to auto-populate specified elements in the current form. The returned information can then be used to trigger follow up actions, helping users complete tasks more accurately and efficiently.

This feature relies on two connected systems to work correctly. Please ensure these are configured before use.

iOS

  • Multi Time Zone Support
Multi Time Zone Support for Mobile Working (Mobilise) users operating in multiple time zones has now been updated for viewing, adding, and editing both Jobs and Busy Time within the Diary View. This means jobs and busy time in the diary are presented accurately based on the time zone of the device. Adding new jobs or busy time entries while displaying in the devices local time zone are reflected accurately in the time zone of the world in Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise). Editing existing jobs or busy time entries is seamless without causing confusion or errors due to time zone mismatches.

Android

  • Mandatory Coded Task
The Android Client has been updated to obey the new Completion Of One Coded Task setting which can be toggled in Web Admin > Solutions > Settings > Visit Task Settings.

When this setting is enabled, mobile user are prevented from completing a visit unless at least one coded task linked to that visit has been marked as complete. If no coded task is completed, the mobile user is notified and given the opportunity to either complete an assigned coded task or add a new coded task, where permitted. This enforcement applies when the mobile user attempts to change the visit status to 'Complete' or 'Complete with omit'. It is triggered regardless of how the status change is initiated - via Status Tasks, Menu Tasks, or from within the Visit Detail. Coded tasks are essential for generating costing information in Job Management (Connect). This feature guarantees every completed visit contributes to financial reporting.

  • Smart Lookup Element

  • The Smart Lookup feature enhances the mobile working experience during visits by providing quick access to context-specific information. When users fill out relevant answers in a form, Mobile Working (Mobilise) takes the entered data and sends it to a trusted external service, along with a request for a specific type of response. The service then returns tailored information that Mobile Working (Mobilise) can use to auto-populate relevant parts of the form. This not only helps users complete tasks more accurately and efficiently, but also allows for integrations to trigger follow-up actions based on returned data on form/visit completion.

This feature relies on two connected systems to work correctly. Please ensure these are configured before use.

  • Play Store Policy Compliance

  • As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain Play Store compliance, we've updated Mobile Working (Mobilise) to support Android's 16KB page size requirement. This change ensures continued compatibility with evolving device architectures and helps safeguard Mobile Working (Mobilise) stability across a broader range of Android environments, with no disruption to the user experience.
