Availability Reasons

Create availability reason codes for Worlds to define reasons for resources' irregular availability outside what is set up in rosters. You can then choose the availability reason codes from a list in Optimise Schedule.

For example, a resource might want to do a few hours of overtime on a Monday evening. The resource informs you, and you associate the reason codes with the availability of that evening. For more details refer to Record Availability in the Schedule User Guide.

Add an Availability Reason

1. In WebAdmin select Optimise Admin.

   The Universal Settings and Worlds page appears.

2. Select a World.

3. In the Settings section, select Availability Reasons .

   

   The Availability Reason Codes page appears.

4. Select Add New Availability Reason Code .

5. Select the Enter Reason Code field and enter a reason, for example Overtime.

   

6. Select Save.

Edit an Availability Reason

1. In WebAdmin select Optimise Admin.

   The Universal Settings and Worlds page appears.

2. Select a World.

3. In the Settings section, select Availability Reasons .

   

   The Availability Reason Code page appears.

4. Select an Availability Reason.

   

5. Select the field and amend the text.

   

6. Select Save.

Delete an Availability Reason

1. In WebAdmin select Optimise Admin.

   The Universal Settings and Worlds page appears.

2. Select a World.

3. In the Settings section, select Availability Reasons .

   

   The Availability Reason Code page appears.

4. Position your cursor over an availability reason code and select the Delete icon.

   

   The Confirm Delete dialog appears.

5. Select Delete.
