Unscheduled Appointed Job Estimation

Jobs which are still to be scheduled by Mendel or someone in an Essentials World do not take up resource availability. When you enable the Unscheduled Appointment Settings in Optimise Appointment Booker Settings, the slot capacity calculation estimates how unscheduled (but appointed) jobs can be scheduled. The slot capacity calculation looks for unscheduled jobs with the matching skills for the same date ranges and also resources with matching skills.

For example, there are several overlapping appointment slots:

• 10:30 to 11:30

• 11:00 to 12:00

• 11:30 to 12:30

• 12:00 to 13:00

• 12:30 to 13:30

There is also one resource with a combination of required skills and:

• A 1 hour and 30 minute long job booked at 10:30 to finish at 12:00

• A 1 hour job booked for 12:30

When you create a job and check the Appointment Booker, the 11:30 to 12:30 and 12:00 to 13:00 Appointment Slots should have capacity depending on the duration of the job (there is a potential 30 minutes available which can make up a percentage of the duration). The remaining Appointment Slots will display no capacity.
