Permissions

Permissions control access to WebAdmin pages, Dashboard widgets, and Optimise Schedule Worlds. There are a number of ways to define permissions for users:

• To assign a specific permission to one or more users, select WebAdmin > Permissions. For more details refer to Assign a Permission to Users.

• To assign one or more permissions to a specific user, select WebAdmin > Users. For more details refer to Assign Multiple Permissions to a User.

• To define permissions for users within a World, select WebAdmin > Optimise Admin and then select the required World. For more details refer to Assigning Users Permissions for New Worlds.

For details of the available permissions for Dynamic Scheduling, refer to Permissions List.

After the initial Dynamic Scheduling installation, only administrators can set permissions for other users. If required, this can include permissions to access the WebAdmin > Permissions page.

Assign a Permission to Users

1. In WebAdmin, select Permissions.

2. Select the permission you want to assign, for example Resources.

   

   The Permission window appears.

3. Select one or more users for the permission. To assign the permission to all users, select Select All .

   Use the Search field to filter the list of users.

4. Select Save.
