Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) - Release 9.40

Release Date - UAT: April 2026
Release Date - Live: May 2026

We have been enhancing Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

Some features may require additional setup by Totalmobile. If needed, reach out to your Account Manager for access details.

What's New

  • Updated Dialogs and Buttons

The dialogs and buttons in WebAdmin have been refreshed to use the new Totalmobile colour palette, bringing them in line with the updated Totalmobile‑branded header. This update delivers a more consistent and modern look across the interface.

  • Add Links to Third‑Party Applications

Enhancements have been made so users can now create and display links to third‑party systems directly within the job card and resource card.

There are two new permissions, Job External Links and Resource External Links. When permission is granted to a user, these will appear under Optimise Admin > Global Settings. The settings allow you to add custom links that appear on a job or resource card.

    • Links can automatically include jobId, clientReferenceId, or clientReference, ideal when the same identifiers are used in the third‑party system.

    • Resource links can automatically include userId or username, ideal when the same identifiers are used in the third‑party system.

    • Dynamic links are supported (for example, linking back to a job or referral record in an external system).

    • Static links are supported (for example, URLs to company information or guidance that appear on all job or resource cards).

This update makes it easier to integrate Dynamic Scheduling (Optimise) with other systems, providing quick navigation to related records and improving workflow efficiency.

For more details refer to Add External Links.

  • Concurrent Jobs Filtering

Enhancements have been made to Optimise Schedule > Select World > Job List. A new Concurrent Jobs icon appears on a job card in the Job List whenever the job has linked concurrent jobs.

    • The icon is displayed on any job with concurrent jobs associated.

    • Selecting the icon automatically applies a filter to show all jobs linked to that concurrent group.

    • A count of the number of linked jobs is superimposed on the icon when the filter is applied.

This makes it quicker and easier to identify and navigate between related jobs.

For more details, refer to Filter Job List to Display Linked Jobs.

  • Enhanced Concurrent Job Details in the Job Card

Enhancements have been made to Optimise Schedule > Select World > Job List > Job Detail. The information shown for concurrent jobs within the Job Detail dialog has been expanded, making it easier to understand and navigate related work. For any job that has concurrent jobs linked to it, each linked job now displays an expanded summary including:

    Linked Job Header

    • Selectable job reference to open details of that job

    • Work type (when available)

    • Current job status, which may be:

      • Not scheduled

      • Scheduled

      • Dispatched

      • Completed

      • Deleted

    Linked Job Summary

    May include:

    • Job description

    • Job location, contact details, and duration

    • Allocation information (if applicable)

    • Target date information, including:

      • Appointment date (if present), or

      • Due date

    • Schedule date information (if available)

This update provides clearer visibility of related jobs, allowing users to review key information at a glance and navigate between jobs more efficiently. For more details, refer to View Linked Jobs.
