Mobile Working (Mobilise) - Release 9.38 On-Premises

We have been enhancing Mobile Working On-Premises since the last release, adding new features and addressing known issues to improve quality.

What's New

  • Email Integration Provider: Modern Auth Support via SMTP & Microsoft Graph (OAuth ClientId/ClientSecret)

    The outbound email integration has been upgraded to support two secure, modern options:

    • SMTP AUTH with username/password or API Key - connect to an SMTP provider which still supports basic auth or API key authentication.

    • Microsoft Graph 'Send mail' - send emails through Microsoft Graph API using app or delegated permissions.

    This replaces configurations which relied on Basic authentication for Client Submission (SMTP AUTH), which Microsoft is retiring in Exchange Online.

  • Mandatory Coded Task

    A new Completion Of One Coded Task setting has been added to Web Admin > Solutions > Settings > Visit Task Settings.

    When enabled, mobile user are prevented from completing a visit unless at least one coded task linked to that visit has been marked as complete.

  • OpenID Connect (OIDC) and Single Sign-On (SSO) - ability to opt in for production environment

    OIDC and SSO will be enabled in the production environment to allow for support/configuration of SSO with an Identity Provider of your choice.

  • Email Functionality Enhancements

    Email Functionality Enhancements have been made to Web Admin > Integration > Adapters > Form Adapters > Form Result Reporting Service Email Adapter.

    Email functionality has been enhanced to allow configurable subject lines.

  • Ability to add Job Codes through Client Action as 'Not Completed'

    Enhancements have been made providing the ability to add Job Codes through Client Actions as Not Completed, in support of including the duration of variations on a Follow-On Appointment.

  • Security Enhancements

    The following security enhancements have been made:

    • Unity integrations and scheduling.

    • Password creation. Stronger passwords are now enforced for new users, and for existing users at time of expiration or on manual update. Minimum characters required increased from 8 to 12; this is not configurable so as to keep in line with the suggested 'good' minimum password length.

    • Rate limiting applied to password reset.

    • Site traffic.

Mobile Working (Cloud) has had feature and functionality enhancements that are not available to On-Premises users, such as Smart Lookup and access via the Field First Platform.

Description

When viewing a User Profile in Web Admin, the cards will appear in a carousel, and the number of cards will match what’s shown in the section title.

Performance improvements to the Sync Purge routine.

Within Follow Up Appointment Settings, validation for Skills will no longer trigger when Allocated to Self is No.

When integrating with Mobile Working (Mobilise), validation will now allow for date of death and date of birth to be on the same day.

Within Form Designer, there is more specific validation supplied when attempting to create a form containing restricted special characters.

Updated handling of SubmitLocationRequest in datamart migration to manage empty values returned for altitude.

Bearer Auth compatibility fixed.

Solution Page validation updated for save to behave as expected when Follow On is configured.

Form Actions screen back button visible as intended.
